How Can We Help ?
Bassam is a longtime West Edmonton resident, community leader, educator, and builder with over 13 years of service in the area. He has led civic, faith, and youth-based organizations and is known for delivering practical, community-driven results.
Bassam has served as the founding manager of Rahma Mosque, co-founded two schools, built youth empowerment programs, and held leadership roles on provincial and local boards. His experience includes managing budgets, developing policies, and leading diverse teams.
Bassam is running to bring real solutions to issues like housing, safety, education, and youth empowerment. His goal is to ensure that all residents of Sipiwiyiniwak are heard, represented, and supported at City Hall.
Bassam is a candidate for City Council in Sipiwiyiniwak Ward 7.
His key priorities include: affordable housing, safer streets, better schools, inclusive policies, transparent leadership, and sustainable growth.
